Dr Cathy Greig

Dr Cathy Greig has worked as a local GP (MRCGP) on the Wirral. She started working in the NHS at the age of 18 as a nurse, spending 10 years in A&E, before studying Medicine at Liverpool University and qualifying in 2004 (MBChB.hons). Studying with a family, she now works as a part time Locum GP with an interest in Womens reproductive health, completing the Menopause special skills module with the Faculty of Sexual and reproductive Health (FSRH) 2020.

Dr Greig has more recently qualified as a Functional Medicine Doctor with The Institution for Functional Medicine (IFM- 2022) and has undertaken the Applied Quantum Biology Level 1 course. This new way of approaching health has allowed Dr Greig to practice a more holistic and individual approach to patient care. Dr Greig enjoys working towards finding the root cause of a problem, moving away from a symptom only approach and empowering the patient to understand how they can take back control of their health.

She believes in listening to her patients, spending time to work together, empowering and motivating them to optimise their health. She feels privileged to be doing this and is committed to continued learning and adapting her approach to meet individual needs.

Dr Greig is now concentrating on building her skills in helping patients using her knowledge in both functional medicine and the quantum field, realising that the bodies own energy is as important as it biological functions in helping to promote healing
