What is Kundalini?
Kundalini Yoga is a profound practice that focuses on awakening and channeling the body’s energy through a blend of yoga, meditation, mantras, and asanas (physical postures). It emphasizes the mind-body connection, using specific techniques to awaken our “Prana” or life force energy.
This energy can be activated through a series of practices designed to engage the entire self—mind, body, and spirit—helping to alleviate mental, physical, and spiritual concerns. By awakening and aligning this energy, Kundalini yoga promotes deep self-awareness and healing.
The practice involves mantras (sound vibrations), kriyas (specific sequences of movements and breath), mudras (hand gestures), and meditation. These work together to balance the body’s energy, elevate consciousness, and foster a sense of well-being.
What does it involve?
At Aim Health, our Kundalini yoga classes are designed to provide a private, safe, and intimate environment for a small group of 4-6 participants. Here’s what you can expect:
- A nurturing space to explore Kundalini yoga at your own pace
- Deep relaxation sessions to calm the mind and restore the body
- Individual guidance and support from an experienced teacher
- Small class size to ensure personalised attention
- Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your own yoga mat (we have extras on-site), a blanket, and pillow for comfort.
Each session includes a combination of breathwork, meditation, kriyas, and deep relaxation, offering an immersive experience designed to enhance your energy flow and overall well-being.
