Our process is not like a typical medical clinic. Each new patient experience is tailored to your specific needs, taking account of your unique history and biology. This will include an extensive health history, any recommended further advanced diagnostic testing, analysis, exploration of your goals and discussion of your root causes.A consultation with one of our highly qualified Practitioners will consider the intricacies of your cellular biochemistry, genetics and identify the specificity of your gut microbiome. From this we design a personalised treatment programme so you can heal and then optimise your health long term. We see patients both in-person or remotely by video call.

AIM was founded and established by Dr Conor McGrath (MBCHB, BSc, FRCA, FFICM)
Conor qualified in medicine in 1996. He has been an NHS consultant since 2005. His primary specialities are anaesthesia and formally intensive care medicine for 14 years.. Having had a long career in hospital medicine, specialising in acute illness and sepsis in particular, Dr McGrath has decided to branch out and bring his problem solving skills to the field of functional medicine. He has had a long interest in metabolic health and in natural treatments and has completed the AFMCP course, metabolic fitness pro (clinicians code) and Cogence immunology.
Dr McGrath will see patients with any chronic illness but is particularly focused on metabolic, energy problems and complex immunological problems. Book an appointment with Conor.

The Functional Health Team are currently working independently on-line and also within Aim Health Center. AIM does not currently provide Functional Medicine Consultation as we are working towards CQC accreditation. This will provide an exciting collaboration between our cutting edge services and experienced local clinicians.
